Day 1 & 2: Iconic Caldera Views & White-Washed Villages
Destination: Oia and Fira.
Focus: We will spend these days immersing ourselves in the iconic white-washed villages perched on the caldera cliffs. Our goal is to capture the intricate architecture, blue-domed churches, vibrant bougainvillea, and panoramic views of the Aegean Sea. We'll focus on clean lines, leading compositions, and capturing the unique charm of these towns during the magical golden hours and blue hour. Expect early morning and late evening shoots to avoid crowds and get the best light.
Day 3: Volcanic Landscapes & Unique Beaches
Destination: Red Beach, Perissa Black Sand Beach, and Akrotiri archaeological site (exterior).
Focus: A day dedicated to Santorini's diverse geological wonders. We'll capture the dramatic red cliffs of Red Beach, the striking black volcanic sands of Perissa, and the rugged beauty of the island's coastline. This offers excellent opportunities for unique landscape photography and dramatic fashion editorials with natural, textured backdrops.
Day 4: Sunset Spectacle & Traditional Villages
Destination: Pyrgos Kallistis (traditional village) and a dedicated sunset viewpoint.
Focus: We'll explore Pyrgos, one of Santorini's highest points, to capture its traditional Cycladic charm away from the main tourist bustle. As evening approaches, we will strategically position ourselves to photograph the world-famous Santorini sunset over the caldera – focusing on sweeping vistas, silhouetted forms, and the interplay of light and color across the sky and villages.
Day 5: Collaborative Shoots & Island Charm
Destination: Various spots including a local vineyard or a less-explored corner of the island.
Focus: A final day for focused collaborative shoots, allowing models and stylists to work closely with photographers to create bespoke content. This could involve an elegant shoot in a local vineyard, a lifestyle session against charming village walls, or capturing candid moments that tell the story of the island's unique atmosphere. We will also have a collective review of our best images and experiences.
We are seeking a passionate and skilled team with a strong portfolio in at least one of the following areas:
Photographer: Specializing in landscape, travel, architectural, or fashion photography.
Model: Experienced in both high-fashion and natural lifestyle posing in diverse environments.
Stylist/Makeup Artist: Skilled in creating looks that complement the iconic beauty and light of the Cycladic islands.
Travel: Participants are responsible for their own travel to and from Santorini (Thira) International Airport (JTR).
Accommodation: We will arrange shared accommodation (e.g., villas or apartments) to foster team bonding. The cost for accommodation, local transport, and organized excursions will be split among confirmed collaborators. A detailed budget will be provided.
Equipment: Participants must bring their own professional camera gear, including any specialized lenses (wide-angle, telephoto) or drone equipment (where legally permitted) that would enhance their output.
